Announcing the Google Android 2, well this isn’t its official name, according to reports from Boygenius.com it’s called the HTC Magic.

After the success of the Google Android (G1) which Mobilesplease stocks in black and white, we can’t wait for the arrival of this ‘magic’ phone as true android lovers. The HTC handset is said to be available exclusively to the Vodafone network alike to the G1 which is exclusive to T-mobile.

Said to feature a 3.2 inch QVGA touch screen, features a trackball for easy navigation and will also feature a 3.2 mega pixel camera, Wifi and GPS connectivity. The magic will also feature the Android optimised Web-kit browser which features a one touch Google search bar, Google maps & as well as You Tube. One of the most noticable differences to the G1 is the missing full QWERTY keyboard?

Available exclusively to Vodafone in spring the device is rumoured to available in white, we will keep you posted when we hear more!
